1930's original black and white silver-print on paper

Mathias group, Drouot-Paris. Collectors battled for many photographs by Dora Maar, who was Picasso's mistress between 1937 and 1944. Even those she took at the end of her life fetched solid prices. This one, with Dora's own face, smashed its pre-sale estimate.
