engraved and inscribed in Armenian, dated 928 of the Armenian Era, Constantinople, 1479
Paris-Drouot, . This rare piece belonged to an Armenian phycisist named Amir Dowlat Amasia and was presumably made by a certain Zilmaspsout. It was the oldest known Armenian scientific instrument on the market, thus the high price it fetched. It was bought by a Qatari prince.
