Sotheby's London. A charming piece sold at a bargain-price to Richard Green, the London dealer. The picture was unsigned but typical of Carlevarijs' conventional works and its price was three times the high estimate. However, it still seemed unexpensive compared with the astronomic bids placed on the two monumental paintings sold at Christie's two days later.
