PIASA group, Drouot-Paris. Despite a small chip on one of the bowls, this bid went stunningly beyond the 80 000 FF pre-sale estimate. The porcelain pieces produced during the Yongzheng period were much refined, incredibly transparent and decorated with the Rose Family enamels. As these pieces are quite sought, it was therefore not surprising that the pre-sale estimate would be smashed but not at such altitude.
