, Drouot-Paris So many Chinese archaeological pieces have been exported to the West that prices have steadily fallen down.  This horse was of good quality, enough to push the bid so high. Otherwise, prices for such pieces are usually below that level. Cycladic figure, made about 2.500 BC, a quite modernistic sculpture, the style of which appealed to many contemporary artists, notably Henry Moore, fetched US 202,000 at Christie's, London on October 20th 1999.
