On 16th May 2016 In Geneva, the Breguet et Fils self-winding quarter repeating watch with equation of time, day, month and power reserve pocket watch acquired on December 31st1817 by Charles-Louis Havas (1783-1858), founder of the famous press agency AFP, was sold by Christie's to a private Swiss museum for CHF3,245,000 and became the second most expensive Breguet watch sold at auction.
