Comment: Dina Amin and Lock Kresler, Heads of sale: This morning's session offered a broad selection of international Post-War art and drew competitive bidding and strong prices, particularly for works that were privately sourced and fresh to the market. This afternoon's session presented an exciting selection of international Contemporary art, and saw particularly strong interest for Urban Art and Chinese Contemporary Art. We are particularly pleased to have welcomed such a diverse group of international private collectors throughout today's auction. Together with the results of last night's auction, Post-War and Contemporary art sales at Christie's this week have realised a total of £108,640,050 / $216,609,213.
