Foundation invites artists to compete in the International art-project "RUSSIAN
ART WEEK'2011", a provocative event for professionals, emerging
artists and students of Arts and Design.
The International Exhibition &
Competition of Contemporary Arts “Russian Art Week” takes place in capital of
Russian Federation - Moscow City (October 24-30, 2011).
Russian Art Week includes five competitions:
1) Painting Competition
2) Graphic Competition
3) Sculpture Competition
4) Photography Competition
5) Crafts Competition
APPLICATION DEADLINES: October 18, 2011;
There are two ways to participate for
the competition – online (in absentia) and in person (internal way).
Participation in absentia:
Author or impresario should send copies or photos of art works by email: info@artweek.eu or post address: 109129, Moscow, Russia, Malysheva str., 2,
kv.35, to: “for Russian Art Week”
Internal participation:
The author brings the artworks in Moscow exhibition hall “Moscow Palace of Painters
M'ARS”, October 24, 2011 (h.5, Pushkarev pereulok str.)
Entrants will send the following
documentation:
а) application form (Resume and Text of a maximum of thirty lines to
explain the topic of the artwork);
b) author's and co-author's photos;
c) competitive works' photos;
d) the label for each artwork (7х4 cm), where one should mention: а) author's
(co-authors') surname, name; b) city; c) category and nomination; d) title of
art work , e) working technique f) size (cm), g) year of creation.
e) wire transfer copy of the payment of Participation Fee.
Entrance documents should be sent in one
of two ways:
a) by email: info@artweek.ru
or
b) by post: 109129, Moscow, Russia, Malysheva str., 2,
kv.35, to: “NextArt – for Russian Art Week”
All sent photos will be published in the yearly international catalogue “New
Faces in Arts”. In this Catalogue you will find more than 1000 images of
authors' artworks from more than 30 countries.
As part of Art Week there will be lectures, workshops and sightseeing
program in Moscow.
