Sotheby's 30 January 2014 auctions of Old Master paintings and sculpture achieved over $67 million especially during the morning session with a group of works from the Dutch Golden Age performing exceptionally well.

The annunciation by El Greco far exceeded expectations, reaching 5.9 million USD, over a high estimate of 1.5 million.
