The son of a well-known Hungarian painter, Pal Breznay lives in Paris where he has been devoting his time to painting.
Pal is truly an artist up to the tips of his fingers and strives constantly to pursue his pictorial researches centring on themes he loves, notably women, interiors, nature, still lifes and horses.

It was while he completed his studies in Ravenna, Italy, that Breznay discovered light and its effects. Light has always been omnipresent in his works.
After settling in Paris in 1986, Pal embarked on playing with the mysteries of light creating intimate compositions where horizontal and vertical lines, softened by solar rays inducing the vibrations of ochre and rose-orange colours heightened by refined grey tones, are expressed in a harmonious way.
Pal has since then been scrutinizing luminous phenomena, notably their intrusion in rooms through an opened window or a reflecting glass. Such game between the external and internal worlds creates a new reality while light caressing sensual nude female bodies standing up or lying suggests an atmosphere of love and epitomises his admiration for women.

Pal Breznay has reinvented a universe of his own and also revealed his interest for nature and for daily life with renewed themes such as the swimming pool where he learned to swim as well as horsemanship, which are reminiscences linked to his childhood.

During the summer Pal Breznay usually paints in open-air in the magnificent countryside surrounding Budapest and recreates nature on the canvas with a freedom of gesture seizing its aspects as well as life in the swimming pools, evoking transparent and clear water with turquoise tones in which swimmers are simply represented like shining multicoloured dots.
His works are much imbued with true and strong sensitiveness that he wants to share with the viewer while demonstrating his love for life and his emotions.
Born in Budapest in 1962, Pal Breznay studied at the Art Lyceum of Budapest between 1976 and 1980 and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna, Italy. He was awarded the First "Luca Zacagnini" prize for Young Painters in 1985. Breznay has been exhibiting his paintings many times in French and Hungarian galleries since 1985 and his works are now rated between $ 1400 and 3,250.

The painter is an artist, a sculptor of the human spirit with shades of color softened in imagination, passion or longing for the invisible, which we feel a craving for. The depiction is transparent for the ache, the hopefulness, the love and the pride, locked in our hearts. It is that other world, in which evil has been overpowered by beauty. And if you want to succeed, you are required to do and bestow your best. Miss Stanislava Stoyanova has not hesitated to take the risk of painting in such a manner as if this were the thing of utmost vital importance in her life. CAMPAGNE HAUTEMENT PHOTOGRAPHIQUE

Né en 1966 à Clermont-Ferrand, Mickael Campagne s'est d'abord tourné vers le théâtre dès l'âge de 15 ans avant de découvrir la photographie à 29. Entre-temps, il aura effectué nombre de tournées et même joué des pièces, créées par lui-même, dans des prisons, histoire d'aider les détenus à s'évader pour un moment.

Après avoir découvert la photographie en 1995, il a été attiré par le cirque et la danse en effectuant un travail approfondi sur le corps et en réalisant des chorégraphies pour des contorsionnistes et des comédiens. Curieux de tout et s'investissant dans de nombreux domaines, il a même été jusqu'à poser pour des sculpteurs et des peintres à l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts et dans divers ateliers tout en poursuivant son métier d'acteur.
Alors, Campagne photographique, ne serait-ce là qu'un simple cliché ou une réalité bien palpable pour un touche-à-tout éminemment sympathique sur lequel il serait mal venu d'écrire un papier salé ?

Il s'agit avant tout d'oublier l'acteur, quoique son métier l'ait grandement aidé à faire de sa passion pour la pellicule un art à part entière qu'il a développé à coups de tirages argentiques sublimes, pour découvrir qu'il possède un talent indéniable de photographe porté vers la poésie. Campagne bucolique... Rien n'est moins vrai.
Ayant exposé pour la première fois en 2005 son travail photographique en noir et blanc à la Galerie Hoppenot, rue Le Pelletier à Paris, Campagne a réussi en peu de temps à séduire nombre d'amateurs en réalisant des clichés propres à laisser pantois qui l'ont fait être surnommé le "Soulages de la photo".

Des planches du théâtre à la planche photographique, il n'y a eu qu'un pas franchi allègrement par cet Houdini du Leica ou du Hasselblad, créateur d'images sublimes qui transforment la réalité et invitent au rêve ou à la réflexion jusqu'à qu'on soit tenté de faire muer Campagne en champagne parce que ce qu'il a sous les yeux, n'est jamais ce qu'il a vu mais plutôt bu, mise au point oblige.

Admirateur de Brassaï et de Joseph Sudek, Mickael Campagne est surtout attiré par les ambiances étranges qu'il restitue admirablement avec la fameuse diapositive Scala d'Agfa dont les particules métalliques sur le papier donnent l'impression de rentrer dans l'image. Ayant su capter l'attention des taulards les plus retors à travers ses représentations théâtrales, il est également parvenu à dompter instantanément la photographie pour en faire une race à part. Il suffit alors d'admirer ses clichés pour oser dire: "Campagne quand tu nous tiens"... D'ailleurs, tel paraît être son objectif...
Les clichés de Mickael Campagne sont des tirages Cibachrome réalisés par Roland Dufau.
