Okinczyc is a painter who has been influenced by old masters
regarding colours, forms and light.
He is much attached to the idea of representing the beauty
of our world and his powerful
and aesthetic works are much sought by amateurs. (...)

It is difficult to describe the variety of Andrzej Okinczyc's art. As he paints a lot, he frequently changes the concept justifying the realisation of the particular cycle. He paints in cycles.
There would be nothing oryginal in it, if not for the fact that in each of them he searches for something different. He verifies old or discovers new possibilities of this respectable genre. Possibilities?
Today we rather seem to talk about the death of painting, an exhaustion of the form of expression, means of expression or whatever we may call it.
In other words, painting would seem to be inadaquate to experiences of the contemporary human being of postindustrial era in which we are placing ourselves having not reached there yet.
This anachronic activity which picture painting would have to be can aquire a trait of additional incoherency with the present times if we imagine the painting from nature. Since the visual culture of today is dominated by media, the essence of things should reflect the regularities which rule them.
