MIGUEL ANGEL GARCIA PADILLA - POETRY FROM MEXICO
Cet article se compose de 2 pages.
1 2

Much attracted by art during his childhood, Miguel Angel Garcia Padilla started at 13 to attend the Zambrano Academy. At the same time, he received lessons from his mother who specialised in arranging flowers artistically.

After graduating as an industrial designer, he received numerous distinctions, notably from the University of Guanajuato and the University Lasalle and designed household and industrial furniture as well as decors.

As an artist he produced strange drawings mixing gold and intricate curves and lines in delicate abstract style. He worked according to his feelings, whether under the influence of joy or sadness but always with a sense of sensitiveness.

"I am two things, changing to be the same, light by day, flower by night, honest by day... My minutes are tears, distilled on the soil...I have suffered my joy and enjoyed my suffering. Back again to the same point as the starting poing is the finish... I can fly with my wings tied to the earth. It is so hard to believe in life as much hard not to believe in it. I see my future intensely and transparently, I am my center, geometric and colored. My essence is superior to any kind of absence... I celebrate the marriage of complicity and silence as well as duplicity,"
