TRIBAL ART IN PARIS
01 September 2000

The 3rd International Tribal Fair of Paris took place in the former Hôtel Dassault on the Champs-Elysées avenue between September 18th and 19th 2000.

Some 12,000 visitors came to see African, Oceanian, Indian and Asian pieces though the market for tribal art remains quite tight, the reason being that collectors must have a good knowledge to acquire valuable objects. Prices for tribal art are rising steadily on the market especially those for exceptional pieces.
