Christina Ruiz Picasso, the wife of Paul, Picasso's eldest son, has donated 138 paintings, drawings, sculptures and prints by the artist to the Spanish town of Malaga. The donation, worth US $ 118 millions, was made in exchange of a pledge by the town council to create by the year 2000 a Picasso Museum in the Buenavista Palace.
