French President Jacques Chirac has expressed the wish to see the future tribal art museum built next to the Eiffel tower in Paris. The President expressed such wish on February 4th 1998 during a cabinet meeting. The US $ 1,6 million project would prove more expensive if the museum was built on the left bank of the river Seine compared with another plan to install it in the Tokyo Palace on the right bank.
