An exhibition devoted to American art during the second part of the 20th Century is being held at the Whitney Museum in New York until February 13th 2000. This exhibition has been offering a large panorama of works produced in the United States over the past 50 years. However critics said its organisers had been a bit chauvinistic in giving a nationalist approach to it.
