Pop singer and art lover David Bowie has launched his own art publishing company called «21» in reference to the 21th Century. The first book published by «21» will be « From Bohemia to Britpop : the London art world from Francis Bacon to Damien Hirst » by Matthew Collings. David Bowie has also started a career as an artist and exhibited his paintings in 1995 and has joined the editorial committee of the magazine «Modern Painters».
