Working in Haiti as emergency manager for several years, Alexandre Latour has been profoundly charmed and changed by the beauty and the magic of Haitian art.
In 2015, he left his humanitarian career and started to share his passion  for Haitian art and invest in its artists to support their practice, nurture their creativity and sustain their living via the Ayiti art gallery organizing art exhibitions throughout London and connecting artists with collectors and patrons to place their art
Consequently, artists have gained more recognition and their art more value before he became conscious of the positive resonance of this initiative on the life of thousands. Not only buying art from Haiti helps artists, their families and their communities, but it also encourages young entrepreneurs to move forward. Art can be a powerful lever of social and economic change for Haiti.

But the story doesn't end here. It goes far beyond that. As and beyond Haiti, there are an infinite number of highly creative International artists isolated from the global market. Their art is fresh, inventive and inspirational. They represent a huge niche market as the demand for new art and new inspiration is growing. Explorative and profitable for everyone
Alexandre is welcoming now art lovers, critics, collectors and investors to introduce them this fascinating and unexplored art world (see : https://www.ayitigallery.com/catalogue)
