Phillips reached  its highest estimate for a June contemporary art sale in London with a total of more than 34 million GBP for 31 lots during its  sale of post-war and contemporary art held on June 27 2018.

Following its record March sale of 97.8 million GBP, Phillips managed to sell all the lots on its catalogue with eight guarantees. A collage by George Condo  was hammered down at its low estimate of 1.4 million and a 1974 canvas by Agostino Bonalumi sold below estimate for 81,250 GBP while a late 1996 .self-portrait by Martin Kippenberger rose to 8.4 million, the highest price for the artist in Europe, against a 7 million estimate.

Joan Mitchell's abstract Champs (1990) sold by Sotheby's New York for 2.2 million USD in 2013 went for 3.2 million GBP. Sean Scully's 2014 painting sold for 1.2 million GBP, Jonas Wood's Rosy Masks, which achieved 293,000 GBP in London in 2016 culminated at 1.6 million GBP and Brian Donnelly, known as KAWS, saw his graphic blue and white painting reaching 321,000 GBP

A large Infinity Nets painting by Yayoi Kusama  bought at Phillips in New York in 2016 for 2 million USD however sold below estimate for a hammer price of 1.4 million GBP and amixed media painting from 1990 by Miguel Barcelo bought at Phillips in 2017 for 413,000 GBP ($540,000) only achieved 320,000.

The Ingenuity (2011), a painting by UK-born artist of Ghanaian descent Lynette Yiadom-Boakye went above its estimate at 156,250 GBP and a  park scene with figures at night by Hurvin Anderson  sold near its high estimate for 789,000 GBP.
