PUBLIC ATTENDANCE  FALL  FOR FRENCH MUSEUMS

Public attendance in French museums fell from 15 millions to 12,7 millions in 1995 and no improvement was registered in 1996. The best year was in 1990 with a global attendance of 16,3 millions and Museum officials feel that they will have to increase happenings and to be more aggressive regarding communication to attract more people.
