THE HERITAGE LOTTERY FUND NO MORE GENEROUS FOR MUSEUMS

The British Heritage Lottery Fund has been showing less generosity for Museums according to its latest grant scheme released in .
Only nine major museums were due to share some £ 18 millions (US $ 30 millions) out of £ 65 millions allocated for
some 15 projects. Last February, £ 137 millions (US $ 230 millions) were given for 23 projects. Out of the amounts deriving from lottery benefits, the health, education and environment sectors will now receive more money.
