CHRISTIE'S GIVES UP INTERNET PLANS

Christie's announced in that plans to launch an auction Website had been abandoned.

The French-owned auction house said that it decided to give up such project because of developing costs of some US $ 15 million, legal problems regarding sure guarantees against fraud, the prospect of low profits and the fact that Sotheby's had already launched their auction site.
