ART PARIS: AN UNFAIR FAIR

The Art Paris Contemporary art fair, held at the Carrousel du Louvre until October 23rd 2000 and dubbed as a preview of the FIAC, which was inaugurated the next day, did not really meet success.

Works shown at this fair were mostly disappointing while organisers adopted an unfair attitude barring entry to some journalists who had forgotten their press cards. Meanwhile, visitors mostly said that Art Paris was disappointing.
