CHRISTIE'S JUNE 20, 2012 SALE OF IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN ART IN LONDON
The  Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale at Christie's London  on 20 June 2012 realised £92,583,550 / $145,541,341/ € 114,618,435, selling 80% by lot and 84% by value. The auction had a pre- sale estimate of £74.5 million to £108.7 million.

SOTHEBY'S MAY 10 2012 SALE OF CONTEMPORARY ART YIELDS OVER 63,9 MILLION USD
Sotheby's Contemporary Art Day Auction on 10 May 2012 in New York brought over $63.9 million. The highlight of the sale was Alexander Calder's standing mobile, The Orange Table, which sold for over $2.5 million - the highest price achieved for a work in a Contemporary Art Day sale at Sotheby's since May 2008.

CHRISTIE'S SPRING AUCTIONS OF IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN ART ACHIEVE 150,7 MILLION USD

Christie's Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper sales held in New York on May 2, 2012 achieved $33,655,375 (£20,866,333/EUR25,578,085) with 83% of lots sold .

This sale crowned Christie's auctions of the week which saw Henri Matiss'es Fauvist still life “Les Pivoines” (The Peonies) and Paul Cézanne's watercolour study of the “Card players” each reach 19,1 million USD. This brought the grand total for Christie's spring Impressionist and Modern Art sales in New York to $150,741,375 (£93,459,653/ EUR114,563,445).
