Beron exhibited his works at the 1936 Salon d'Automne in Paris.

Bersohn exhibited landscapes at the Salon d'Automne in Paris in 1911 and 1912 and a portrait at the Salon de la Nationale in 1912.
Berthet (Bornstein), Suzanne Sonia

Nationality : Polish then French
Born in Warsaw, Sonia Bornstein came in 1925 to Paris and studied under Andre Lhote. In Montparnasse, she befriended Kikone, Mane Katz, Menkes and Volovick and exhibited her paintings at the Salon d'Automne and in several group exhibitions. During the Second World War she joined a group of the French Resistance movement in Southern France. In 1947, she went to Morocco and married a chemist. After her divorce 12 years later, she married Jules Geiger, a photographer and sculptor. Suzanne Berthet Bornstein

Nationality : Russian
Working as a painter and sculptor in Moscow Bessmertny studied art in Munich and in Florence. He settled in Paris in 1923 and exhibited his works until 1939.
Besso, Amalia

Nationality : Italian
Born in Trieste, Amalia Besso studied under Delleani in Turin and Innocenti in Rome. Producing genre scenes, views and portraits, she exhibited her works in Milan in 1906 and in Munich the following year.

Bihari, Sandor Alexander
Birth - Death : 1856-1906
Nationality : Hungarian
Bihari first studied in Budapest and then under Wurzinger in Vienna and Jean-Paul Laurens in Paris. Specializing in genre painting, he produced his first painting, titled “The Village Doctor” in 1880 and then produced genre and historical scenes. Bihari took part in the 1901 Brussels exhibition in 1901 with a work titled “Honeymoon”. On his return to Hungary, Bihari settled in Szolnok, an agricultural village, and often represented the monotonous life of the peasants.

Painter. Born in Bosnia Bijelic became a successful painter as well as a professor at the Academy in Belgrade. Some of his works are on display at the National and Modern Museum of Art in Belgrade.

Bilan studied painting in Jerusalem and in Paris, where he settled in 1974. He exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions.

Bilew's Jewish Russian parents settled in Grenoble, in the French Alps region. He later worked as a painter in Marseilles.
Bilis, Aaron

Painter. Bilis lived in Paris between 1909 and 1915 and then went to Argentina. He came back to France in 1928 and exhibited in many Salons from 1930 until the 1970s. Bilis was awarded a Gold medal at the Salon des Artistes Francais in 1968. He painted many portrait and Impressionist landscapes.
